COMMUNIQUÉ​

A workshop was organised by SHARPEN for English teachers of various SBOA schools at S.B.O.A. School & Junior College on the second Saturday(10/2/2018) of February 2018 on the topic,’Transforming Pedagogy in the 21st Century’. There were two resource persons Mr & Mrs.Santhosh Kanavalli, Resource persons of Orient Blackswan.

The discussion that followed was on 21st-century learning. The teachers were told of the critical attributes of the 21st-century curriculum.   The 21st-century education was explained to be special as it

• is bold

• breaks the mold

• is flexible, creative, challenging and complex.

• addresses a rapidly changing world filled with fantastic new problems as well as exciting new possibilities.

Structures were taught through games. The games were meant to be used in the classroom to bring all pupils into participation.
