The library department of SBOA Global School had organised for a vibrant interative session with Author Bhakthi Mathur. Students of class VI interacted with the author and were inspired by her thoughts.	Students of SBOA Ernakulam attended an interesting session on 'Anger Management' conducted by Mr. George Joseph, Puthenpurickkal from the Times of India group on 6th December at the school premises.	Teachers of SBOA CBSE, Madurai attended a 6 -day workshop on 'Innovative Teaching Techniques' from 18th Dec'17 to 23rd Dec'17, organized by Sastra University, Tanjore .
Mrs. R. Bagyasree, Mrs. John Meera, Mrs. R. Gayathri, Ms. A. Monica and Mrs. Nithya Priya of SBIOA Matric, Trichy,attended the NAMASTE Programme conducted by Sastra University, Tanjore from 18th Dec to 23rd Dec'17. The workshop was sponsored by Tata Consultancy Services.	SBOA Ernakulam teachers got an opportunity to interact with Mrs. Vijayam Kartha, Programme Director, Initiatives of Change, Panchgani.	Students of class XI of SBOA Matric, Madurai attended a session on ‘Failures are the Stepping Stones to Success’ handled by Mrs. V.Nithyanandhi PGT English, of SBOA Matric, Madurai.
60 students of Matric, Madurai participated in 'Hour of Code ' programme condùcted by Thiagarajar College of Engineering in connection with Computer awareness week celebrations.
