RE-GREEN CHENNAI

About 2000 students and teachers from all our schools participated in the Re-Green Chennai OMR Marathon’17 in Chennai, on 17th December’17  starting from Madhya Kailash and ending at MS Swaminathan Foundation, Old Mahabalipuram Road (OMR). The races were held in three categories 3km, 5km and 12 km. Re-Green Chennai is a noble public-participatory initiative which aims at creating 33% of green cover across Chennai from the 4.5% that we had before Cyclone Vardah. This movement aims not only to educate and create awareness but they also involve multiple stakeholders into planting trees and other greening activities.
