COMMUNIQUÉ

SBIOA Educational Trust, Chennai - 600 101

The gap between the skills people learn and the skills people need is becoming more obvious in recent times, as traditional learning is unable to equip students with the knowledge they need to thrive. To emerge successful, students are expected to collaborate, communicate and solve problems-skills developed mainly through social and emotional learning. In order to equip teachers with the emerging demands, 24 teachers of our schools underwent training in Logic Mills, Singapore.

The methodology aimed at converging technology, education, and activities so as to provide experiential learning that is fun and inspiring. The activities aimed at improving the logical, reasoning and arithmetic skills among students.

A career guidance programme was organised for the students of SBIOA Model MHSS recently. The resource person Commodore V.R. Nathan, a recipient of Vishisht Seva Medal conducted the seminar for the students of Science stream.
